Part of the Charter is a catalogue of proven national and international best practices in the area of diversity policy. This catalogue is a possible tool in developing and testing the policy. It will provide examples and inspiration for implementing a diversity policy.

The catalogue is based on a study by the TopBrainstorm project team ‘Best Practices’ supported by Bain & Company and Egon Zehnder International.

The key questions addressed in the study are:

• What are the HR initiatives Dutch companies should have to increase number of women in executive positions?
  
• How can they support those initiatives and render them most effective?

The study specifically addresses the role of companies/institutions in the Netherlands, providing most effective best practices and recommendations to improve the gender diversity
